English - Constituent of HEAS Department

The HEAS department comprises sections of Applied Mathematics, Applied Physics, Applied Chemistry, Humanities and English. The department offers core courses in Applied Mathematics, Applied Physics, Applied Chemistry, English & Humanities (Management, Engineering Economics, Organizational Behavior and Personnel Management) to all undergraduate students. Physics, Chemistry & Environmental Engineering are also taught to students of 1st B.Tech. In addition several courses in Mathematics/Applied Mathematics e.g. courses on Numerical Analysis, Discrete Structures are given to select branches of undergraduate engineering according to the prescribed curriculum of Bikaner Technical University.

Applied English

Humanities imparts instructions to UG students of the various engineering disciplines and caters to their needs in the areas of English and other foreign languages, economics, technical communication, technical report writing, industrial organization and managerial economics.

Program Objectives

The programme seeks to train students to become decision makers with social sensitivity, broad strategic vision, and capability of assuming higher corporate responsibility and marked degree of flexibility in interpersonal relations.
